about this poster

Lisbon poster, alley with blue azulejo facades

A sloping Lisbon street climbs between facades covered in blue and white azulejos. Laundry dries in the sun on wrought-iron balconies, and a church bell tower rises at the top of the hill. This Lisbon poster makes the blue of the tiles its dominant color, lifted by the clear light that bathes the city. The title “LISBOA,” the Portuguese name of the city, accompanies this bright, quiet neighborhood scene.

Azulejos on the wall for the kitchen or bathroom

Dominated by blue and white, it fits right in a living room, kitchen, entryway or bathroom. It pairs well with a tiled backsplash, earthenware dishes, blond wood and green plants. Several Portugal posters can join it to form a travel wall. A great gift for lovers of Portugal, travelers who have climbed Lisbon’s steep streets, or anyone passionate about ceramics and patterns.

Your questions

What does this “LISBOA” poster show?

It shows a sloping Lisbon street lined with blue and white azulejo facades, with laundry on wrought-iron balconies and a church bell tower at the top of the street.

Which room is best for this azulejo poster?

Its blue and white pairs especially well with a tiled kitchen or bathroom, but it also suits an entryway or living room. In a humid room, hang it away from water splashes.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
