Copenhagen Nyhavn colorful houses and old sailboats poster

Copenhagen poster, the colorful houses of Nyhavn “KØBENHAVN”

Along the Nyhavn canal in Copenhagen, gabled townhouses line up in red, yellow and blue façades. Old wooden sailboats are moored at the quay, their masts rising in front of the houses. The title “KØBENHAVN” accompanies this Danish scene, written in the language of the country. This Copenhagen poster plays on the reflections of the colors in the canal water. The mood is cheerful, orderly and Nordic, with a clear light that makes every façade sing.

A Nordic poster for the living room or kitchen

Its bold colors brighten a living room, a kitchen, an entryway or a child’s bedroom. In landscape format, it sits nicely above a sideboard, a desk or a sofa. It pairs well with a Scandinavian interior: blond wood, white walls, wool, ceramics and green plants. You can combine it with other posters of Northern cities or harbors. It makes an easy gift for someone who loves Denmark, a traveler back from Copenhagen or a fan of Nordic decor.
