about this poster

Station master and pocket watch poster, “TIME KEEPER”

Under an iron and glass canopy, a uniformed conductor checks the time on a gold pocket watch, attached to his vest by a chain. He holds the watch in the palm of his hand while a red and black steam locomotive pulls into the station beside him. Travelers walk along the platform with their suitcases, and the stone clock tower rises in the background. The title “TIME KEEPER” pays tribute to the person who watches over the punctuality of trains. A precise, elegant station poster, where everything revolves around time.

A railway poster for the office or entryway

In portrait format, it dresses up an entryway wall, a hallway or an office, wherever you check the time before leaving. Its tones of iron, stone and gold blend well with dark wood furniture, leather, brass or an old wall clock. It can join other poster prints of trains and travel to form a railway wall. Think of it for a railway worker retiring, a watchmaker, a steam locomotive enthusiast or a friend known for never being late.

Your questions

What does “TIME KEEPER” mean?

A “time keeper” is someone who keeps track of time, who clocks it or watches over the hour. On the poster, it’s a conductor checking his pocket watch as a steam train arrives.

Who should you give this station poster to?

It will delight a railway worker, a watchmaker or a fan of vintage trains. It’s also a fun nod to a always-punctual loved one, for a birthday or a retirement.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
