Steaming pot-au-feu cast iron pot poster

Pot-au-feu in its pot poster, “SLOW SIMMER”

In a sun-drenched country kitchen, a large cast iron pot rests on an old stove. The pot-au-feu simmers gently inside, and a tall plume of steam escapes from under the lid. Behind it, a tiled wall and a small window complete the scene, while in the foreground a wooden bowl of carrots, turnips and leeks waits on the terracotta tile floor. This pot-au-feu poster celebrates dishes that cook for a long time and fill the whole house with their aroma. The warm light and dark cast iron create a cozy image. The title “SLOW SIMMER” speaks of that slow cooking.

A simmered dish for a family home kitchen

It is made for a kitchen, a dining room or a family home. The dark cast iron and golden light go well with wood, terracotta tiles, copper and white walls. Its vertical format follows the plume of steam and is easy to place above a stove or a countertop, away from the heat. It can sit alongside other posters of simmered dishes. A gift for a lover of traditional cooking, a grandparent who cooks or a friend who loves hosting a big table.
