A keepsake rather than a generic religious object
A baptism often leads to a conventional religious gift (a medal, a cross, a prayer book) that never really gets used. A poster is more meaningful when it joins the world of childhood: a framed vintage toy lasts through the years and becomes a keepsake the child can watch grow up.
A classic in painted wood
The children’s toy poster with the pull-along dog shows a wooden pull toy dog spotted in orange and blue, with bright red wheels, on the counter of a toy shop: a nod to handmade toys passed down from generation to generation, perfect for decorating a child’s room without falling into the teddy bear cliché.
A rag doll from days gone by
The Rag Doll poster draws on the style of rag dolls that were popular in the 19th and 20th centuries, with a dress of lace and ribbons: a softer subject, for a romantic or retro decor.
Choosing between 2 posters
The same questions as for other gift occasions apply: which colors and style have the parents already chosen for the room, and which size fits the space available? The What poster to give? guide explains the method occasion by occasion.

Frequently asked questions
You often ask us
Does a baptism gift have to show a baby?
No, a timeless childhood object (a toy, a doll) works just as well and stays fitting for longer as the child grows up.
Is a poster a good fit for a room the parents have already decorated?
Start by asking about the colors and style already chosen: the size selector on each product page lets you adjust the size to the available space, but the artwork should stay consistent with the rest of the room.
